We had an awesome time fishing Buoy 10 with Captain Robert and First Mate Juan. Their knowledge and skill made the trip smooth and enjoyable. Everyone on board caught their salmon limit, with plenty of wilds released along the way. Highly recommend this crew for a great day on the water!

I’d always wanted to try sturgeon fishing on the Columbia River, and Captain Bob made it unforgettable. We landed both great numbers and quality fish, and the entire trip was a blast. Easily a 10/10 experience—I’d go again in a heartbeat!

Foggy skies and picky fish made for a tough start, but Captain Bob never gave up. He worked hard to find the right spot, and I ended up landing my very first two Cohos. We had a few more bites that slipped away, but with his knowledge and guidance, my companion caught her first 24" Coho, and another angler hooked a couple of Jacks. In the end, we had the biggest catch of the day and, with four of us fishing, brought in 8 total and kept 4. Captain Bob’s dedication and extra effort turned a slow day into a memorable one!

They say the Columbia River is full of surprises, and our trip to Buoy 10 with Captain Robert proved it true. My wife and I set out expecting a nice day on the water, but it turned into so much more. My spouse and I spontaneously arranged a trip with Captain Bob. Communication was nearly instantaneous and consistently reliable. Thanks to Bob's extensive knowledge of the area, we successfully caught some impressive fish. His enthusiasm for fishing matched ours, and he even played some fantastic tunes. If you're hesitant about booking with Robert Vernon, don't be—just go for it! You won't be disappointed or miss out. He presented the perfect opportunity, and it was a fishing adventure to remember! P.S. If you're a dog lover, ask him to bring Beau along :)

We headed out to Oregon for our first shot at catch-and-release sturgeon fishing. It turned out to be an amazing day on the water, and it seemed like we were the only ones reeling them in that morning. Captain Robert Vernon was fantastic, and his boat was spotless. He came prepared with at least three different baits to make sure we had the best chance at landing some sturgeon. I'm pretty sure that's why we had such a successful day. Unlike some other charters we've tried before, this one was a real pleasure. My sons are already planning to bring their friends along for another round. Thanks for the fantastic fishing experience!
